Draft · to be reviewed before launch

Leisure Athletes is a small community. We collect as little as we can, use it only to run the club, and never sell it.

What we collect

• Newsletter: your first name, email address and, if you give it, your city.
• Forms (add a race, lead a crew, pitch an experience, “I’m in”): what you type into them, plus your name and email so we can reply. The “I’m in” form also asks for your mobile number so you can be added to that event’s crew WhatsApp group.
• Saved on your device: after you send an “I’m in” form, your first name, email and mobile number are saved in your own browser so the next one is pre-filled. They stay on your device; clear them any time with “Not you?” under the I’m in button.
• Site analytics: anonymous page counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn’t use cookies or track you across other sites.

How we use it

• To send the newsletter you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To review submissions and reply to you.
• If you ask us to, to share your first name and mobile number with the volunteer crew lead for a specific event, so they can add you to that event’s WhatsApp group. We only do this when you tick the box that says so.

We don’t sign you up for the newsletter because you sent a form, unless you ticked the newsletter box.

Who processes it

We use a few trusted services to run the site: MailerLite (newsletter), Tally and Google Workspace (forms and submissions), and Cloudflare (hosting and analytics). Your information may be stored in Canada, the United States or the European Union.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Email hello@leisureathletes.com.

Events and other sites

Races listed on this site are run by independent organizers. When you register with them, their own privacy policies apply.
